Metabolic Health vs Body Weight

While body weight is sometimes used as an indicator of health, metabolic health—how well your body can process energy—is more important. You may be "skinny fat" (normal weight but not healthy metabolically) or overweight but metabolically healthy. More important markers include blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, and inflammation than just BMI.

Pay attention to:
✔ Balanced nutrition (whole foods, fiber)
✔ Regular exercise (strength + cardio)
✔ Quality sleep & stress management

Real health is not about weight—it's about how efficiently your body works.
